"THE NORTHWEST PASSAGE WILL BE BREACHED"

But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet to warn the people and the sword comes and takes the life of one of them, that man will be taken away because of his sin, but I will hold the watchman accountable for his blood.' Ezekiel 33:6

They say to the seers, "See no more visions!" and to the prophets, "Give us no more visions of what is right! Tell us pleasant things, prophesy illusions. Isaiah 30:10

"I tell you that the northwest passage will be breached. I tell you that in the cover of night your land will be invaded. The onslaught will come and will you be ready? But it won't come in the form of air strikes, but of vessels in the water. Those lands will be breached first.

Will your land be ready on that day? Will you have fallen? Will the strategic command have saved you? The land is clothed in stillness; The waiting will have concluded into a surprise attack. Oh former land of the free and the brave, your wars were won in the past by the hands of many, but now you are not prepared.

When it is time to flee to safety I will tell the way to go. Find that place of safety and you will be hidden there. "

"THE WORLD'S STAGE IS SET WITH ITS ACTORS"

16 Then the Pharisees and Sadducees came, and testing Him asked that He would show them a sign from heaven. 2 He answered and said to them, “When it is evening you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red’; 3 and in the morning, ‘It will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ Hypocrites! You know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times. 4 A wicked and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign shall be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah.” And He left them and departed. Matt 16

"Look to Me when the storms rise up against you, says the Lord. Look to Me when the mountains quake and fall. This is a season of anticipation, says the Lord. What lies ahead, you may ask? A weatherman may report storms or sunny skies during the next week. But who can say what is involved in the next season? Who would know how the skirmish would end in Israel? Who would know what the ultimate plan is for Russia? The world stands in hush before the storm. The world's stage is set with its actors. The chessboard is set for these final days. The Olive Tree and its budding has begun.

Armies gather and muster. Border disputes continue. The innocent suffer loss at the hands of man. What price do you put on the head of a child? How does a family sustain itself in the midst of a battle?

The battlefields you see today are but a taste of what is to come. When the wars come to your own land then it becomes more personal. The players are set; the game is in motion. "

'THOSE WHO HAVE STOOD AND WAITED FOR YEARS WILL SUDDENLY COME INTO THEIR INHERITANCE"

If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? Luke 11

5 So she went from him and shut the door behind her and her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured it out. 6 Now it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said to her son, “Bring me another vessel.” And he said to her, “There is not another vessel.” So the oil ceased. 7 Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, “Go, sell the oil and pay your debt; and you and your sons live on the rest.” 2 Kings 4

"All things come to him who waits. Those who wait upon Me will be rewarded. Those who have stood and waited for years will suddenly come into their inheritance. For I Am the Father. I know how to give good gifts to my children. An earthly father would give to his children from the limited supply that he possesses, but I give out of abundance and overflowing.

Do you think that I would just give you a fish or a rock? I own the cattle on a thousand hills. The world's systems cannot work without my hand. If I control the world's systems then how much more could I do for you?

I have told you that I would supply all your needs by my riches and grace. But I can give to you beyond your wildest imaginations. For when the world is having to struggle and toil in the dust, my hand can multiply all good things out of my treasury.

For I AM not bound by the world's regulations and boundaries. My ways are not your ways. For in the days ahead when the banking systems have failed, I will replenish your storehouse. The oil and the grain will not run dry. Just as my prophet was fed by the widow, so will I feed many of you by my own hand.

My yoke is easy and my burden is light. Through diligence and hard work a man will be paid, but my hand holds the purse strings.

Thus would say the one who owns the cattle upon a thousand hills."

"RISE AND FIND THAT ARK OF SAFETY"

14 whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. James 4

37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Matt. 24

"Time waits for no one. The days are racing towards my soon return. May you be blanketed with the assurance of my gathering you up into my fold, says the Lord.

The days look towards 'that day.' The trees rustle and signal a change of season. There is a sense of hush across the land. The warriors in the field bow their heads in anticipation for that event.

Look back over your days, oh man, and tell Me if I have not been there throughout your entire life with you. Your lives are but a vapor; they drift in and out, ushering in various events of joy and sorrow. Look back over the days of your childhood; and know that I was there with you every step of the way. And now as all of us grow older; as children grow up, as silver touches the hair of many, will you remember Me and know that I sit on top of this earth beholding the sons and daughters of man?

Do you see the tumult all around you? Do you behold the chaos in the cities? For I tell you that in the days of Noah I called a man to build an ark. I had him and his family safely tucked away in that great vessel. For the earth had grown evil. Wickedness had grown to such an extent that there was only evil worked out throughout the hearts of many upon the earth.

And now the earth and many of its people, have once again flaunted their wickedness at Me. And now, another ark must be built. For its structure will not be built with the same materials as before. For the old covenant has passed. And now my own Son has given his body as a ransom for many.

And now the timbers within His body will provide safety from the great storms that are coming. Rise and find that ark of safety among you, says the Lord. Go into the portals of my robe. For you will find safety there. For as the waters rise across this nation, and as that great rift splits open across the Mississippi, you will find safety in this new ark. For people will be running to and fro on that day. The lives of many will have left them homeless. The financial systems will have become bankrupt. The coasts will have become demolished.

For a great wind is blowing across the nations of this world. Those involved in the many wars that are being fought, are among the last players. And the world's stage will watch as the pages of my prophetic time table comes to pass.

Thus would say the Spirit of the Lord."

13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Matthew 7

"From the east and from the west, a new breed of people is coming. This people have not given into the systems of this world. They have been outside the walls of the church. In the deserts, and in the forests, I have fed them by my own hand. They have been hidden; and yet I know them well.

And in spite of their seeming hiddenness, they are found. For many have been warring in the deserts. Many have longed for the time of my soon return. For you are like those who have been thrown out of the churches. You have been rejected; you have been forlorn. But I tell you that I receive you. Woe to those who have always been spoken well of. For many of you have been man-pleasers.

For I tell you that this new breed of warriors doesn't look for recognition. They are used to adversity. They are used to loneliness. But in spite of all these things, they are like shining swords in my hands. They are used to long hours of prayer with Me. They don't follow the traditions of many of you.

For the people that I am looking for don't follow the mandates of man. They aren't caught-up in all the hype. They have found a humility in being joined with Me. And is it any wonder that they haven't been received by many? For much of my church follows a pattern very much like the world.

Have I not called you to be separate? Have I not told you to find the narrow way? For wide is the way to destruction, but narrow is the way to find my kingdom. Very few find it. But to those who do find it, there is a blessing of intimacy with Me. "

"THE DOMINOES WILL BEGIN TO FALL"

15 And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army: 16 And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes. 17 Thus saith the Lord God; Art thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring thee against them? 18 And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord God, that my fury shall come up in my face. Ezekiel 38

1 From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? James 4:1

"You oh man are prone to violence. There are battles being fought all around the globe. You fight for this and you fight for that. But what you fight for does not have everlasting rewards.

The wars and the fighting will continue around the globe. You fight for that which you will never have. Do you not know and have you not seen that I sit on top of this world and that I see the bloodshed from every corner of the globe? And yet that very last battle will make all the other ones pale in comparison to it.

These are those days that many in the past have looked into. For I tell you that the dominoes have begun to fall. Everyone of them has hit the next one and the series of events is played out on the world's stage. For as they gather from the north, and as they muster their troops along the border of Ukraine, a continued revolt is seen across the world. For in those very last days, the great bear will come into and alongside the blessed land; and all the joined forces will meet in that valley.

But even before the event of that, the bear will have joined forces with China, and you oh America, will have been breached by the enemy. Your land will be plundered. You will have been invaded by the north passage. For secretly they will have come through the shadow of night. And then one more domino will fall.

And you will see wonders being performed by many. The one doomed for perdition will have raised his scepter. Many will follow after him, but my own will flee to safe places. And even with the great tribulation that is seen during those days, a banner of truth will be raised from among my own."

"WHO SHALL BE ABLE TO STAND ON THAT DAY?"

17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? Rev. 6:17

40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. Matt. 25

(During the hearing of this word, the Lord showed me scenes of various people who had their arms raised out of the mud and mire, trying to find escape, and yet they were left alone. Various large skyscrapers were reeling back and forth, ready to fall. The earth's crust split open and the land became split in two.)

"The illegals have come, but what are you going to do with your own people, says the Lord? You are a nation of selfishness and greed. I have said that, 'If you do this for the least of my brethren, then you do it unto Me.' You don't care for the downtrodden or lost. You build your mansions unto the sky, while ignoring those who are begging for bread around you.

I tell you that on that day all those things built against Me will fall. For the ocean waves and fire will demolish them. You will cry out to Me but I will not hear your pleas. For your hands are stained with blood. The buildings will rock to and fro; and many of your cities will be left like a heap.

The people will cry out for help. They will cry for their children and the old. They will say, 'How could this happen to a great nation like ours?' And then some will consult the soothsayers and those with tarot cards. But all those who sought these things will be in derision.

But a remnant, a body, will be saved on that day. They will have seen the storm coming, and they will have made plans to help save the lost.

These days are not as far off as you think. The unrest around the globe will have risen. The violence on your streets and in your schools will have reached an all time high. And when all seems lost, the one doomed for perdition will have answered the call."

"EACH SOUL"

Then the Lord God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature. Gen.2:7

3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Rev. 21

"Each soul that I created is unique and different. Each soul has been made by my hands. I have hand-crafted each person in a new way. I have breathed into man his spirit, and that spirit is timeless.

There is no one like you in the entire universe. With your spirit you can honor Me or you can go away into darkness. My spirit is joined with the Father. We are one and you can be one as well. From time immortal I wanted man to be joined with Me in spirit. An eternal flame resides in each of you. Embrace the light and see that I AM in you as well.

Forever I long to have the spirits of the sons and daughters be with Me in my halls. But on that day you will reap the rewards of eternal life or you will be held in chains in the deepest pit of darkness. But many of you are wanderers upon this earth; you wander looking for spiritual food in a world that doesn't provide it for you. You seek out all kinds of things thinking that they will fill the void that is inside you. The emptiness that you feel can only be filled with Me, says the Lord.

I have created a hunger within each of you. It is a hunger to be loved and to know what the truth is. It is a deep well where the spirit resides. Man will never find the origin of it; but it is boundless and eternal. The ocean is held in its expanse by the land around it. A glass or a cup may hold water that is in it, but what would contain a spirit? For I have founded you with a body. I have given you a mind. And the deepest part of you; the part of you that resides at your core, the part of you that is your identity, is that eternal flame which is your spirit.

Each of those spirits will join Me on that day. They will stand before Me. They will see their spirits joined with mine. They will find their place among the many who have gone before them. They will behold my throne. They will gaze upon the wonders that are all around them. And they will walk the halls; the eternal halls of my glory. For you are timeless, my people. And you will gaze back and wonder at the life that was before you. But no more will you remember sorrow or pain. You will look upon the other souls that you have known. And the light that is seen in each other will become an open book that is read before you.

But those who have not known Me, your well will have been filled-up with darkness. You will have known that is was too late for you. Because you decided not to follow after Me; because you chose not to believe in Me; because you chose the pleasures of this life over Me, then in my deep sorrow I left you alone. I left you alone, and the ages of your eternal torment was to be your reward.

Each spirit has a choice. But know that your choices have eternal rewards."

“I HAVE SAID THAT I WILL SHAKE THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH”

For thus says the LORD of hosts: Yet once more, in a little while, I will shake the heavens and the earth and the sea and the dry land. Haggai 2:6

26 whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, “Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven. Hebrews 12:26

"I have said that I would shake the heavens and the earth. Everything that can be shaken will be shaken. Many wonder when all of this will happen, but I tell you that it won't happen until I have gathered my angels together for this work. For I have set my angels over certain areas of the globe. They have been set there for times and of seasons; and they blow their trumpets at my command. They have been set over certain continents to protect them and to watch over the dealings of man. But ever since the safety net was lifted some time ago, the winds have changed, and my judgment has begun to fall.

For I once held a canopy over your land, I once protected you from afar, but no more. For indeed, dark days are coming to your land. Dark days are coming. And yet, my light will fall upon my own. On that day many will flee from the wrath to come. For they would want the rocks and hills to fall upon them. The tattered remains of your flag will be left upon the shoreline. And yet in the hearts of many, a new flag will arise. It will be a flag of your forefathers. For those who sought freedom in building a new land, came with the promise of those things in their hearts. They escaped the tyranny of England, but now, a new tyranny arises. For the world’s stage is set with many dangers, and you would implode from within if not from without.

And those who have spoken about these things are but to many of you but a pied piper playing out a dire song. Oh America, land of the free and home of the brave, what have you become? Your children are shot in your schools. Your poor wander the streets without a home of their own. You have your precious entertainment to keep you happy. But I AM blowing a trumpet across the land. I AM blowing it if you would but listen. It is blown outside the walls of the church. Few there are that hear it within those walls. For the sounds of the choir and the organ drowns it out. But there are some that hear the sounds. And before that day of final judgment falls, there will be some who will say, ‘This is the way, walk ye in it.’ And in spite of the devastation of those days, those who have come before you will be seen in the heroic acts of my people in those days. “

"DO YOU HAVE SHELTER FROM THE STORM?"

For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall. Isaiah 25:4

"Is there anything I cannot do, says the Lord? Are there any prayers and requests that I cannot answer? Your prayers come to Me upon the wind, says the Lord. Each one of them, I look over. Each one of them is important to Me.

There is nothing that I cannot do. Many of you limit Me, says the Lord. Many of you think that your lives are going to remain the same. I AM the God of miracles. Think back of the things I did for my people in the past. I fed them in the wilderness. I stopped the mouths of lions. I raised up a young shepherd boy from the fields and I made him king. I caused a deliverer to come out of the palaces of Egypt. I spoke to men and called them forth to prophesy. Rivers rose and fell at my command. And in these last days many are called to do the same things.

Who do you run to when the storm comes? What kind of shelter do you have? Do you build your house among the rocks and the trees? Does a bird in the forest warn you of the things to come? Does your knowledge learned in your universities prepare you for these days?

There are wise men and prophets that I have sent out in these days, but many of them are ignored. But you would rather read your books and your reports from your computers. I will ask you again, 'Do you have shelter from the storm?' For your houses may be built of wood or stone, but your shelter will not be adequate on that day. For the fury of the oceans will lap against the shores. The ground will quake and will crack open. And many will be running to and fro. But in spite of all these things that are coming, the miracles of the past will pale to what is seen. Many will be healed of their diseases. The lame will walk and the deaf will speak. And whoever calls upon my name will be saved."

"THE FOUNTAINS OF THE DEEP"

"When he prepared the heavens, I [was] there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth: when he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep." Proverbs 8:27 28

22 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. 2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. Rev. 22

There are fountains that I have created. There are fountains that hold the eternal water flowing from my throne. There is a fountain that flows directly from my throne, says the Lord. There are fountains that I have called to spring up as wells. There are fountains of the deep, and there is also a fountain that springs up unto eternal life. For it is not water that springs up from this well, but it is the essence of my eternal Spirit. You all have a well to draw from deep within your soul. You can draw sustenance from Me there, says the Lord. It will replenish you. For in it springs forth eternal life. There is a river that flows directly to my throne. It is as clear as a blue azure sky. On either sides of this river are the trees that will bring healing to the nations.

But this fountain, that I have made for you will cause you to draw forth the water from the wells of salvation. There are no bottoms to this well. There are no boundaries. Drink of my water, says the Lord.

This water will sustain you. In it resides my Spirit. Freedom and healing make up its center. I have given water on the earth to replenish and nourish the earth; but this water has its limits. My creation has held the earth in its form. It was hollowed out and shaped by my hands. But a more perfect world awaits, and you have a taste of it in the fountain that springs forth."

"I WILL ALERT YOU TO THESE THINGS AHEAD OF TIME"

Jeremiah 30:7: "Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble; but he shall be saved out of it" (KJV).

"Whether you flee to the mountains on that day or remain in the city, I will be with you. Even though the mountains crumble and fall into the sea, I will take care of my own on that day.

Indeed I will instruct some to build cities and structures from the storm, but I AM able to save you in spite of these things. The hours on the clock are speedily approaching that day. Many will flee and escape from these things; and there will be various places that they will run to.

(The Holy Spirit showed me different scenes of people who were traveling on the road. I saw some traveling upon motorcycles going down a highway. They were going across a long stretch of highway which seemed to be in the southwest. A mountain loomed before them, and they came to a spot where there was an opening in it, like a cave, and then they went in Another man was in a boat with his family, going down a river. He paddled the boat, as it was a canoe of some sort. Various types of transportation, and people were on the road and in the water, traveling to different destinations, fleeing to find a safe place. )

The eagles, my prophets, will point the way in that day. For with the turmoil that erupts within, many will lose their hearts because of fear. Your shepherds have no knowledge of these things. Many who claim to have prophetic insight have not been given a revelation of these things. But you would be wise to listen to them. For at that time, your nation will have been invaded. Your military will not aid you on that day; and you will need safe haven. But I will alert you to these things ahead of time. "

"THE DOLLAR WILL LOSE ITS VALUE"

Wealth and riches shall be in his house, and his righteousness endureth for ever. Psalm 112:3

14 Wise men lay up knowledge, but the mouth of the foolish is near destruction.15 The rich man’s wealth is his strong city; the destruction of the poor is their poverty.16 The labor of the righteous tendeth to life, the fruit of the wicked to sin. Proverbs 10

The prudent sees danger and hides himself, but the simple go on and suffer for it. Proverbs 22:3

(Carol and I were talking about how the economy is and the state of affairs in the U.S.I began to pray and the Holy Spirit began to stir within me.)

"I tell you that the economy will fall. I tell you that the state of affairs in the United States will be in a state of panic. For the winds are blowing across the world's stage. The dollar will lose its value. The currency of the world market is in a state of flux and change.

Other currency will have a raise in value. Many will lose their investments, but others will have known about this ahead of time. From all corners of the earth, I will meet the needs of my people. All that call upon my name will be given safe haven in that day.

The wealth of the wicked will be given into the hands of my people. The world markets will be in disarray on that day. Woe to those who have made the dollar their prime investment. People will be going to and fro looking for answers. But who is the wise steward who has planned for these days?

The winds will blow in great turbulence across the land. But those who make their shelter in my abode will be saved. For there will be looting and all kinds of violence throughout the land. But my people who have planned ahead will have seen this day and they will have prepared for it."

"WHO IS THE MAN OR WOMAN THAT WOULD TRULY SIT BEFORE ME AND LISTEN?"

Who has believed what he has heard from us? And to whom has hthe arm of the Lord been revealed? Isaiah 53:1

"I AM Spirit, and I AM the Spirit of truth. All that worship Me must worship Me in Spirit and in Truth.

But what has happened to Truth? There are so many false reports and things said around the world. How many truly know that I AM the Truth? How many can truly discern when something is coming from Me or is not?

This world is filled with lies. There are so many lies and half-truths that are spoken. There are so many things that get distorted. There is a chamber in my throne room that I have devoted just to Truth. Some come to Me an they have heard from Me, and then they immediately take what they have heard from Me and then they add to it from a news report. How many of you listen to your favorite Christian talk show host and then swallow everything that he has said? Has this person been to my throne room? Have they been in my presence listening to the Truth said from my throne?

I tell you that many of my sheep have been diverted in this. For you have not listened to Me but you have listened to the voices around you; and so, you have been caught-up in the propaganda. I tell you that there is not a room in my throne room that is devoted to this.

You hear something that such-and-such a person has said, and then you run with it and tell others. And then many believe the words that were spoken. But who is the man or woman that would truly sit before Me and listen? "

"YOU WERE MADE FOR A TIME SUCH AS THIS"

20 Now in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some unto honor, and some unto dishonor. 1 Tim. 2:20
"It is time, I say that it is time for some to come unto their own. For many have been set upon a shelf. Many have been set upon a shelf waiting and wondering when their time will come.

But I tell you that now is time to brush off the dust. Now is the time that you are being brought into the Master's use. Many have been sitting in their own rooms and homes. Some have overstayed their time in the cave.

But now I will put some of you upon the fast track. For the blooms are opening. The soil has produced a fine-colored rose. You are now ready, would say the Lord. Your feet are being shod with the gospel of peace. You have sharpened, and resharpened your swords, and I would say that they are now ready.

For many of you are part of my last firing of clay pieces. I have added distinctive marks on you for my purposes.

Did you think that you would always remain where you have been? For, that season is over with now. And months earlier you gazed across the hills and you saw the place that you are now in from afar. For it was not just an illusion upon the horizon. For that place is now, says the Lord.

So dust off your armor. Put it on and see that it fits well. You were made for a time such as this. "

"YOU ARE TO LIVE ABOVE THE EVENTS OF THIS WORLD"

2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. Col. 3

"Many people hear things about the world they're living in. They hear reports about the world around them. They watch the news and they wonder about many of these events. But you oh man, you are not to be swayed by these things.

For the world always has events and things that happen 'in it.' For the world and its events are under my control, says the Lord. Truly, the events that are playing out in the world around you are signs that you are approaching the end of time. But I don't want you to become upset or dismayed by these things. For I have said that these things would surely come.

You are to live above the events of this world. For you are not of this world, would say the Lord. You are born of the spirit, and this earth will drift away.

Many of you are tossed to and fro by these things that you see around you. You are easily unsettled in your hearts. I have told you that you are on the verge of the events that are playing out right now. Those events are the ones that usher in my soon return. But even with all these things happening all around you, you are to look to Me. You are not to look at the waves in the water as Peter did. Keep your eyes focused upon Me and not the world around you. Then when the troubles come you will not be as unsettled as those are that are around you."

"BY THE WATERS AT CHERITH I WILL FEED YOU"

2 And the word of the Lord came unto him, saying, 3 Get thee hence, and turn thee eastward, and hide thyself by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan. 4 And it shall be, that thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there. 5 So he went and did according unto the word of the Lord: for he went and dwelt by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan. 6 And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening; and he drank of the brook. 7 And it came to pass after a while, that the brook dried up, because there had been no rain in the land.

(Like many of you, I seek out ways to provide for my family, and sometimes there are ideas that I have that would bring food to the table to sustain us. But upon thinking about some of this, I was led to consideration of the text in I Kings 17 where Elijah had been directed to go to the stream in the wilderness after his ordeal with King Ahab. We know of the story in the cave where God spoke to him in that still small voice. We know perhaps how he was taken care of at Zarephath by the widow. But do we consider how God fed him directly from his own hand by the stream? God still wants to feed His servants in this hour. He still wants to show them that He alone can sustain them. He wants them to know that they don't need to seek their own stream or waters, for they may well not sustain them. )

"There are many of you that I AM feeding directly from my hand. Just as Elijah was fed by the ravens, I want you to know that I can feed you. In and out of season, my servants are to be fed in this way.

If there is no work to be found; if there is no employment anywhere, come to that stream that I've planted you by. There you will be fed supernaturally. For the creek will not run dry. It will flow on forever. For it's waters come directly from my throne. Sit and be fed by the ravens. Don't run off and do something else.

Many are called, but few are chosen. And yet, to those who are chosen, few there are that know that I can truly feed them by my hand.

My hands are always open. My hands can hold the world in them. My hands can hold a small baby in them, and my hands can soften the hardest hearts. What father does not want to give good gifts to his son? If then you as earthly fathers know how to give these good gifts, then how much more would I do for you?

Come and sit by the brook a while. Behold the beauty all around you. Ponder how my hand has created all of this. Then know how I can provide for my own. "
